BELUG

About This Web Site

This is the official website for the Bellevue Linux Users Group (BELUG). Its primary purpose is to provide useful information about Linux and related topics not only for BELUG members but also for the world as a whole.

In keeping with this goal, the structure of this site has been kept as simple as possible, including the minimal use of images and complex page layouts. Reasons for this include (1) minimizing page loading times, (2) maximizing compatibility with a wide variety of browsers and display devices and (3) allowing both the site developers and the users to focus on content rather than superficial appearances.

This website has been created entirely using Linux and other open source tools. It was coded in XHTML 1.0 and CSS using gedit 2.0.2 on Red Hat Linux 8.0, and it was tested primarily using Mozilla 1.5.

The submission of articles, technical papers, book reviews and other relevant works for consideration for publication on this site is encouraged. Comments, corrections and suggestions regarding site contents and presentation are also welcome. Please send to bellevuelinux at yahoo.com.

BELUG activities, including the creation of this website, are facilitated by the generosity of our corporate sponsors. If you would be interested in becoming a sponsor, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please feel free to contact us at bellevuelinux at yahoo.com.

Additional information about this site is available in the BELUG Website FAQ page.
