LINMO

LINMO is a model for content-rich web sites that promises to help move the Internet closer to its true potential as a high quality information and educational resource. It is based on an optimized combination of basic web technologies and attributes of well-written books, and it is accompanied by a set of guidelines designed to facilitate its implementation.

The purposes of this site are to (1) describe the model and guidelines as developed to date, (2) promote the development of additional web sites that conform to them and (3) explore the broader implications of their widespread implementation.
